August 09 Oh, Where Art Thou Bloggers? Its been so long since I last entered a blog, I had forgotten that they changed everything. What's up with that?
So lets see what has been going on. We made the decision over the weekend to move back into "our" house. I have a good feeling about it and am pretty excited about it. We had made some updates to the house after we had moved out, so we didnt get to enjoy them, and I'm looking foreward to the kids having their own rooms again.
I went to my first session with my personal trainer yesterday. It went well and we will meet once a week for the rest of the month. She has started me on a little routine already. She suggested I workout 40min, five times a week, if I'm looking to see results. We went over cardio and weights at this first session. I am probably most familiar with weights, and the rest will all be new to me, even though I do elliptical. I think I overdid it though, and ended up in bed for a good 20 hours or so, but am up now and ready to continue shrinking. We were suppose to take my measurements but forgot. I will try and remember my tape measure the next time I go. Plus, she suggested I purchase a heart rate monitor.
Even though this is our WW week off for the inspirational hotties, I have been OP. I actually didnt even eat all my points yesterday since I wasnt feeling well. One of our Hotties, Claire, suggested we try a THanksgiving Day Challenge, which is about 15 weeks away. It will also be perfect timing as I will have to get my cholesterol rechecked in November. I have set my goal for 15lbs in 15 weeks. August 01 My Awesome Inspirational Hotties (Monday)
One cannot change yesterday, but only make the most of today, and look with hope towards tomorrow....

"A real transformation begins on the inside, not in a bottle or a package. The magic is sitting inside you, just waiting to be let out. The transformation is a learning process, one that comes from realizing you control your destiny, and that you can accomplish whatever you decide you're going to accomplish."

Watch Out World Week 2 has arrivedWow!! I cant believe August is here already! Where has my summer gone? Pretty soon Dan will go back to school, we will start getting ready for fall/winter... so many things...
Yesterday was the start of week 2 of our Inspirational Challenge. And once again its off to a good start! My personal trainer hubby signed me up for finally called and I am due to start with her next Tuesday. They will be 1 hour sessions. I am excited about that. I was at the grocery store and found WW yogurts on sale 10 for $10, and being that they are only 1 point, I couldnt resist, plus its a good way to get my milk in.
Hubby has been so impressed with me actually going to the gym, setting up my personal trainer stuff, etc, that he went out and picked up these new shoes by Nike for me. I havent figured out all the gagdets yet, but there is a device in the sole that will get a connection from my ipod, and it will track stuff for me, like miles, steps, and other stuff. I will let you know how it goes! Week One ResultsThe end of week one has passed and I am pretty pleased with myself. Some of the things I have accomplished this week are:
1- 14 activity points-this means going to the club 5 times!
2-Staying on plan with my diet
3-resisting Caribou Coffee
4- Actually running on the treadmill
5-Lost 0.9lbs at my WI on THursday. July 29 WeekendsMy weekend is half-over and I am glad to say that I am on plan. The weekends have always been the toughest part for me because its usually the days that the family eats out in the midst of running errands and doing family stuff. I lucked out for my first weekend challenge. Hubby and the kids took off for the weekend to visit his side of the family. Although they have only been gone a day and I truely miss them, I am glad it was this weekend they went. Tomorrow I will do an end of the week challenge summary of my AP, etc. I am proud of myself for actually going to the gym, i dont think i have done so much activity since high school. I am off for now, but will check in tomorrow.
